The representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) has solicited support and cooperation of Ijede people for the returning Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba.
While affirming that there is no rival for her in the coming council elections, Hon. Aro said that her administration deserves to be supported in maintaining peace and development in Ijede LCDA.
He made the appeal on Saturday during the flag – off of two roads in Ijede which are his 2025 constituency projects.
“There is no rival for her second term and we must all support it.
“I need you all to support us more because we can only enjoy peace and development when there is cooperation. We have been enjoying peace and tranquility under the administration of Hon. Motunrayo Alogba and we need to sustain that trajectory.
Ijede has been peaceful under her administration and that is why we are experiencing growth. It is only where there is peace that contractors would be willing to come and work,” the lawmaker charged.
Meanwhile, Hon. Gbadebo – Alogba in her remarks at the ceremony assured Ijede LCDA residents of her continuous delivery of the dividends of democracy.
Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba, who is the only female council boss among the six in Ikorodu Division, is the only chairmanship aspirant in Ijede LCDA, which guarantees her return back to office in July.
