Three more aspirants vying for the Chairmanship position of the Ikorodu Local Government (Ikorodu Central Local Government), have been screened three weeks after the screening panel led by Alhaji Gafaar concluded the exercise.
Azeez Lamina, publisher of the Waves Magazine and Gbadebo Taofeek Oluwafemi, Chairman, Lagos judiciary union who were at Umrah during the first screening and Idowu Alli, an energy expert that was on duty call abroad for his company, were screened by the panel in the rescheduled screening at the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Ikorodu on Thursday.

Other members of the panel present at the screening were Hon. Olawunmi Ajetunmobi, Apex Secretary, Ikorodu Division, Dr (Mrs) Afolabi Dixon, medical practitioner and chieftain of APC and Alhaji Animashaun, APC Chairman, Ikorodu Central, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, Chairman, Ikorodu LG and Deaconess Wonuola Osinowo, APC Lagos East women leader.
Prince Rotimi Ogunleye, former Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Lagos State, is the only member of the panel not available at the rescheduled screening.

About 5 aspirants were screened during the exercise that spanned about four days three weeks ago, but during the period, Azeez Lamina, publisher of the Waves Magazine and Gbadebo Taofeek Oluwafemi, Chairman, Lagos judiciary union were at Umrah while Idowu Alli, an energy expert was on duty call abroad for his company; the duo of Ibrahim Alani Onibudo and Yusuf Atebo Owolewa, were back on business trips in Canada and United Kingdom respectively.
THE impact gathered that the aspirants were asked about their voters’ card, residency and knowledge of their wards and Ikorodu as a whole, party activities and agenda for the development of Ikorodu if given the mandate among others.

Meanwhile, THE IMPACT gathered that Yusuf Atebo Owolewa, has officially written to the leadership of the party explaining reasons he was unable to make the first and the rescheduled screening.
It was also gathered that Ibrahim Onibudo, has also sent correspondences to the leadership of the party and the screening committee.
