The Ikorodu Federal representative, Rep. Babajimi Benson and Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, have extended their warmest felicitations to the Sekumade of Ipakodo, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Bashir Aremu Shotonwa.
Oba Shotonwa is celebrating his birthday today.
In a statement by Rep. Benson who is the Chairman, House Committee on Defence, the revered royal father was described as a promoter of development.
“I extend my warmest felicitations to the Sekumade of Ipakodo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Bashir Aremu Shotonwa, on the occasion of his birthday.
“Your tireless efforts at promoting growth and development in Ipakodo and its surrounding communities in Ikorodu Division are truly commendable.
“May the Good Lord grant you more years in good health and prosperity on the throne of your forebears.

Senator Tokunbo Abiru and his wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, in congratulating the monarch on behalf of the people of Lagos East, said that Kabiyesi has been exceptional as a leader and committed to the development of his kingdom.
