The representative of the Ikoodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has assured the constituents of Ikorodu of more quality and impactful representation in 2025.
The lawmaker, who has not only contributed significantly to the primary legislative duty of lawmaking, but has also facilitated several projects – roads, hospitals, market, schools, among others, that have transformed the social and economic lives in his constituency, gave the assurance in his New Year message.
In the statement titled, ‘Celebrating the Season and Shared Vision For A Better Ikorodu Division’, the three – term lawmaker also said that he made significant leap in serving his constituents in the just concluded year.
“My beloved Ikorodu constituents,
“As we embrace the joy of this festive Christmas season and the end of 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we have shared together thus far.
“Throughout the year, like in the past, I remained steadfast in my commitment to serving you with passion and purpose.
“We made significant progress in areas that matter most to you – improving infrastructure, expanding access to quality education, enhancing healthcare, and supporting initiatives that empowered our youths and women.
“From road rehabilitations to community development projects, from scholarships to job creation efforts, every step we took was guided by our collective desire to build a better future for Ikorodu federal constituency and our beloved Nigeria.
“2024, like many others, has presented its fair share of challenges, yet your resilience, hope, and unwavering support have been a beacon of inspiration to me”, he said.
While giving assurances that he would continue with his quality representation in the new year, Rep. Benson thanked constituents for the support he has been receiving and look forward to continuous service.
“I know there is more to be done. Your needs remain my priority and I am deeply committed to doing even more in 2025.
“Together, we will continue to work towards a safer, more prosperous and inclusive Ikorodu division.
“I promise to amplify your voices in the House of Representatives, to attract more development and to ensure that no one is left behind in our shared vision for progress.
“This season, let us celebrate the bonds that unite us, the progress we have made and the hope we carry into the new year.
