-Pledges dialysis centre, ambulance for Imota GH
The representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, is not relenting on his efforts to facilitate infrastructural development for his constituency, especially in the area of roads, hospital and innovation centre.
The three – term lawmaker has, again, laid foundation of another 250 – capacity ICT/CBT centre for the Ikorodu Constituency II, at Ori – Okuta in Imota Local Council Development Area of Ikorodu, which will be a prototype of the one being built for the Constituency I at the Ikorodu Town Hall.
The foundation laying ceremony for the CBT Centre, which was held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, was used to commemorate the grand finale of 2024 Imota Ayayo Day Celebration.
During the grand finnale ceremony of the annual event at the Imota Mini – Stadium, where he was the Chief Launcher, Rep Benson also announced that he would be facilitating a dialysis centre and an ambulance for the 80 – bed hospital that he facilitated with state – of – the – art – medical facilities.
He said that the CBT Centre project will revolutionize access to technology in the community.
“I have been told that the 80 – bed hospital that we just finished does not have a diagnostic centre. We will ensure that we start that this year by God’s grace.
“They also said that they don’t have an ambulance. We will also supply with an ambulance before the end of this year by God’s grace”, Rep. Benson pledged.
Speaking further at the well – attended celebration, the Ikorodu Federal representative said:
“The CBT Centre that we have laid its foundation, is a 250 – capacity centre. Within the next three months, Imota will have a brand new 250 capacity CBC Center”, he assured.
