Igbogbo/Bola Tinubu/Igbe Road: Residents Commend Hon. AMA Over HiTech Company’s Return To Site

Residents of Ikorodu, especially those in Igbogbo and Igbe communities, have been commending the representative of the Ikorodu Constituency II, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), for the return of the HiTech Construction Company, the contractor handling the abandoned Igbogbo/Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Igbe Laara Road, to site, several months after vacating the project.

THE IMPACT had, on Friday, reported that the contractor has been re-mobilized and directed by the Lagos State Government, to move back to the site.

Following the mobilisation, Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun led a team of officials from the Minister of Works & Infrastructure and HiTech Construction Company, on tour of the site, especially the Afa bridge axis, during which AMA restated that the contractor would recommence work on Monday.

Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), the Chairmanship aspirant for the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, speaking with THE IMPACT, described the development as a triumph for the people who have been agitating for the completion of the road.

He commended the traditional ruler and other stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring that the government do not abandoned the road.

“This is a triumph of people’s voice. It is a job well done to the people of IBLCDA who constantly called on governments to keep working.

“Thanks to our traditional institutions, political leaders,CDAs, Igbogbo youth coalition and other stakeholders for acting quickly and giving feedback. Many thanks for always……. And thanks to the governor for the directive and mobilisation.

“Let all hands continue to be on deck. God bless Lagos State”.

Aroyewun also commended Hon. AMA for his consistency in ensuring that the government remobilized the contractor.

“I want to specially commend my brother and representative, Hon. AMA, for his consistency regarding the road. Your consistency and persistence in ensuring that the state government completes the road is highly appreciated and commendable”, Aroyewun added.

Mr Fatai Adewale Gbadamosi, the Chairman, The People’s Forum, commended the lawmaker for his commitment to the yearnings of the people.

“AMA has demonstrated commitment to service since he came into office. This will also count as one bold step in trying to alleviate the sufferings of the people around that axis , thank you, AMA”.

Mr Akeem Mustapha, in a statement on behalf of Team AMA Community Development Initiatives (TACDI), commended the lawmaker for his efforts over the road and overall legislative actions.
