Land Bureau Sensitises Stakeholders On Usage Of Land Administration e – GPS Portal

The Lagos State Lands Bureau has sensitised stakeholders on the use of the Land Administration e-GIS Portal to ensure a more seamless process of all land-related matters in the State

The Stakeholders, comprising Lawyers, Real Estate Agents, Estate Surveyors and Valuers, were hosted at the Lagos State Digitisation and Automation Center, Alausa, Ikeja during the week.

The Permanent Secretary, Lands Bureau, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago in his address affirmed that processes and applications on the portal would no longer be delayed as the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has officially approved a dedicated bandwidth and uninterrupted power supply for the Bureau to enhance smooth operations of the portal.

Mr. Olowoshago reiterated the Land Administration e-GIS Portal’s Innovation, which was launched recently, would enhance efficiency, transparency and accessibility while catering to the diverse needs of Property Owners, Government Agencies, and other Stakeholders involved in the Land Administration System.

He urged the Stakeholders to contact the Bureau via the customer chat box on the website for complaints, inquiries and suggestions regarding the processes and applications on land-related issues assuring them of swift responses by dedicated staff of the Bureau.

The Management and Staff of the Bureau also took turns resolving some of the issues raised by the transactions on the challenges encountered while using the portal.

One of the Stakeholders, Barr. Kunle Adeleke in his remarks, commended the State Government on this groundbreaking initiative, describing it as a timely project which is gradually eradicating bureaucratic hurdles and delays in obtaining necessary approvals and permits.
