Muslims have been enjoined on the need to approach the month of Ramadan with pureness of minds, seek forgiveness and show compassion to others.

The Chairmanship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), gave the advice, while also emphasizing that the period is one that muslims must extend hands of support to the less privilege and those in needs in the society.

The Chairmanship aspirant, gave the charge in a statement today, which is the beginning of the 30 days of fasting for the muslim faithfuls.

“RAMADAN KAREEM to all muslims in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, and across the world! As we embark on this sacred month of fasting, reflection, and spiritual growth, may it be a time of immense blessings from Almighty Allah (SWT)”, Aroyewun said.

“Let us embrace the teachings of Ramadan with open hearts, seeking forgiveness, and being compassionate and generous towards one another. In particular, let us remember the less privilege amongst us and extend a helping hand to those in need. These are ways we can embody the spirit of Ramadan in solemn worship and deeds.

Aroyewun prayed that the Holy Month should bring strength that would lead to a glorious path for muslims.

“May this Ramadan be a source of strength, renewal, and enlightenment for us all. May Almighty Allah lead us to the glorious path.

“Ramadan Kareem!”.
