It was a celebration galore on Saturday, February 17, 2924, as family, friends and associates joined Alhaja Oke Taiwo in celebrating her 70th birthday anniversary amidst pomp and joy.
The celebration, which started with Islamic prayer at the home of the celebrant, located on 5, Fatoki Salami Street, Ikorodu GRA 2, Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area of lkorodu Division, Lagos State, kicked – off in the morning when close family members and friends joined Oke family to give thanks to God for the seven impactful decades of Alhaja Oke’s life.
The 0loja of Lagos – elect, Prince Abiola Olojo – Kosoko, his Olori who is the General Manager, Lagos State Television (LTV) and the immediate past president of Oriwu Club, Ikorodu, Otunba Amid Adekunle Oduborisha, were some of the important guests that honoured the celebrant with their presence.
Scores of guests, which included club members of the celebrant and friends of his son, Mr Oke Godwin OlaOluwa (OGO), a social commentator and respectable youth leader in Ikorodu Division, also attended the reception party that was held later in the day.
Members of Mr Oke OlaOluwa’s club – Ikorodu Heroes (I – Heroes), were led by the club’s President, Mr Olanshile Majolagbe, to the memorable celebration.
