The I – Heroes (Ikorodu Heroes) Club has felicitated the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, and entire Ikorodu people on the occasion of the 32nd Ikorodu – Oga Day Celebrations, which started over a week ago.
The celebration climax today with the grand finale at the Ayangbure palace, with social gatherings expected to take place at the lkorodu town hall and all – over the Ikorodu Kingdom.
In a statement today by the club’s President, Majolagbe Olanshile, the club said it is proud to be part of the celebration which showcase heritage of the Ikorodu people and promotes the town’s socio – economic development.
“The president and the entire members of I-Heroes are happy to congratulate Alaiyeluwa, His Royal Majesty Oba (Engr) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, and the good people of Ikorodu, on the occasion of the 32nd Ikorodu Oga Day”, he said.
“The Ikorodu Oga Day is an event that is always filled with glitz and glamour. Also, the event showcases the rich cultural heritage and the socio-economic potential of Ikorodu. We are proud to be part of this great celebration.
“We are also using this opportunity to congratulate the chairman and members of the Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS) for a successful outing”.
