The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, and the State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Muhydeen Adeola Jokombo, have congratulated the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, on his birthday today.
Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, a chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), was the former Deputy to President Bola Tinubu while he was Governor of Lagos State.
Senator Abiru, in a statement that he jointly signed with his wife, Mrs Feyisara Abiru, described the former Deputy Governor as an exemplary leader, adding that he has contributed to the development of progressive politics.
“On behalf of my family and the entire good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate our revered apex leader, the former deputy governor of Lagos State and member of the prestigious Governance Advisory Council, GAC, His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, on the occasion of his birthday”, the statement said.
“Prince Ogunleye is an exemplary leader and elder statesman who has contributed remarkably to the advancement of the progressives’ cause and the overall development of our dear state. We are proud of the quality leadership he has been providing as the apex leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, (APC), in Ikorodu Division.
“The outstanding accomplishments of His Excellency, Prince Ogunleye in public service, and other areas of life, are great sources of inspiration for many aspiring leaders in Ikorodu, and Lagos State at large.
“On this occasion, I join his family, friends and numerous well-wishers in wishing him a happy birthday. I pray that The Good Lord grants him sound health as he ages gracefully.

In his own congratulatory message, Dr Muhydeen Adeola Jokomba (JK), Scribe of the APC Lagos State, said that the celebrant is a rare gem whom God has shown abundance grace.
“A rare gem, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye is a year older. God has shown you his unlimited grace as you added another year today on planet earth”, Dr. Jokomba said.
“Your life has been a source of inspiration to your generation, my generation and l am sure the generation yet unborn will have a lot to learn through and from you.
“I am particularly grateful for your love and display of wisdom per time. Thank you DADDY.
