The former President, Igbogbo Youth Coalition (IYC), Mr Olugbenga George Odunniyi, has joined many other personalities in Igbogbo, to laud the academic feat achieved by one of the illustrious sons of the ancient community, Dr Nururudeen Oshinlaja, PhD., in far away Cardiff University, Cardiff, United Kingdom.
Oshinlaja, who was a former President of the Igbogbo Students’ Union (ISU), is being conferred with a doctoral degree in Earth Science by Cardiff University, on Wednesday (today).
Odunniyi, in a statement today, congratulated the young scholar describing his accomplishment as extraordinary.
He also commended him for his commitment to the development of Igbogbo.
“Heartfelt congratulations on your remarkable achievement of earning your academic Doctoral degree. This is an extraordinary accomplishment that truly deserves recognition and celebration”, Odunniyi said.
“As brother and as a member of the LeAP team management, I have had the privilege of witnessing your unwavering dedication, passion and hard work, firsthand. Your commitment to personal and professional growth is truly inspiring. It is through your relentless pursuit of knowledge and your unwavering determination that you have reached this significant milestone.
“Not only have you excelled academically, but your contribution as a community builder, has left an indelible impact on those around you. Your ability to bring people together, foster collaboration and create a positive change within the community, is truly commendable. Your leadership and dedication have made a significant difference, and I am incredibly proud to call you my brother”.
The former IYC President said that he has no doubt that Dr Oshinlaja will continue to use his intellect for the development of his people, his community and humanity in general.
While stating that he is proud of the newest doctor’s academic feat, Odunniyi also stated that he looks forward to him getting to the peak of his career.
“Your Doctorate degree is a testament to your intelligence, perseverance and the countless hours of effort you have invested in your studies. It is a reflection of your intellectual curiosity and your desire to make a meaningful contribution to your field. I have no doubt that your expertise and knowledge will continue to shape and influence the lives of others positively”, he said.
“As you embark on this new chapter in your life, I am confident that you will continue to excel and achieve great things. Your determination, resilience, and passion will undoubtedly propel you to even greater heights. I am excited to see the incredible impact you will continue to make as a leader, a scholar and a community builder.
