Commendations, Prayers As iCare Distributes ‘Apo Anu’ Sallah Edition

The iCare Foundation, the working team of the three term representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has distributed the 2023 Ileya edition of its monthly food distribution to vulnerable residents.

Over 500 residents across the Ikorodu Local Government and five Local Council Development Areas (LCAs) that made up the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, benefited from the lawmaker’s gesture.
The event was held at his constituency office along the Igbogbo/Ebute Road, Igbogbo in Ikorodu Division area of Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, on Saturday.

The federal lawmaker has been running the foodbank program for about 10 years tp feed thousands of families across the lkorodu Federal Constituency.

Mrs Oguntunde Aliya, one of the beneficiaries was full of praises and prayers for the lawmaker after collecting her Sallah ratio of the food bag.

“We are here to collect Apo Anu food from Hon. Babajimi Benson who has been extending the gesture to many of the constituents in the past years”, she said.

“I am so glad today because I have collected this. Jimi Benson is a good person. May God continue to uphold him and lift him up to wherever he wants to go politically. With this that he is doing, I pray that he will definitely be in a higher position to do more than this for us. God will be with him and no danger will go near him or his children”, she prayed.

Another beneficiary, Mr David Adila, a resident of Ibeshe in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, thanked the lawmaker for the food packs and all that he has been doing for residents in his ward.

“I am very excited today and I want to thank Hon. Babajimi Benson for all his efforts and what he has been doing for us in Ward C4 in Ibeshe where I live”, he said.

“Today is for the distribution of food bags and I am also one of the beneficiaries. I want to thank him for the good job and we look forward to more dividends from him and I know that he will do more for us in our party. I really appreciate his gesture”.

Adesoji Oke, who was benefiting from iCare’s ‘Apo Anu’ food bag for the first time, said that he was glad to be among the beneficiaries.

“I am so glad today, because I am among those that are benefiting from our constituency. Every part of the constituency has also been benefiting from his representation”, he said.

“I am so glad to be here. We will continue to vote for his party, APC. Today is my first time coming here to benefit from the lawmaker’s gesture”, he added.
