2023 Elections: APC State Scribe, Former Ikorodu SLG Win Polling Unit

Hon. Olanrewaju ‘Sunmi’ Odesanya, State Secretary, APC and Comrade Japheth Odesanya, Director, Media & Publicity, Oga Campaign and former Secretary to the Ikorodu Local Government.

Chieftains and notable figures within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu, are delivering their polling units for the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the Saturday Gubernatorial election, and ensuring that the re – election of the incumbent Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu, is possible.

The State Scribe of the party, Hon. Olanrewaju ‘Sunmi’ Odesanya, and the former Secretary to the Ikorodu Local Government, Comrade Japethet Odesanya in booth 002, Home Economic Centre, Owolowo/Olubi Street, Ikorodu, followed the trend of other leaders of the party by winning their booth for their party.

At the polling unit, APC won 94 votes while Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 8 and 4 votes respectively, in the Governorship election.

ZLP only managed to polled 1 vote.

There is no void vote in the centre which explains the sophisticated nature of the electorate.

In the State Assembly election, APC also won the State Assembly election for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat. Incidentally, the former SLG, Comrade Japheth Odesanya, is the Director, Media and Publicity of the APC candidate in the constituency, Mr Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA).

APC garnered 94 votes, while PDP got 5 votes, LP 7 votes and ZLP 1 vote.
