Over 500 Residents Benefitted From Rep. Benson’s Medical Outreach

The representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, continued to impact on his constituents with his quality representation as over 500 residents; both old and young again, benefited from his medical outreach program.

The free medical treatment which included eyes screening, free eye glasses, dental and general check up, took place at the federal lawmaker’s office in Ikorodu, on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

Beneficiaries at the program, which was attended by the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, His Royal Majesty (Oba) Barr. Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, were also provided with free drugs and health education at the outreach which organized by the iCare Foundation, operational, arm of Hon. Benson.

Adeboruwa, who went round the outreach, commended the medical personnel on ground for their service to the residents of Ikorodu.

Adeboruwa also thanked Rep. Benson for providing another opportunity for residents.

The Director – General, iCare Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, speaking with our reporter, said that the outreach was part of the representative’s programmes to improve the living conditions of constituents in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

He said that more health outreach programmes will be sponsored by iCare to assist constituents with health issues.

Mrs Bunmi Obayomi from Igbogbo, commended the initiative of the lawmaker for giving her a reading glasses though, she said that she’s still looking forward to getting a general one when next such program is organized.

“I am here from Igbogbo because we were told that our son, Jimi Benson asked us to come for medical check. I want to thank him because he has been a wonderful person and God will continue to bless him and lift him up. Personally, I came for eyes screening and glasses, though, I have been giving a reading glasses but I need glasses that I can walk and go out with. Hopefully, he will be distributing that next time they will be having program like this”, she said.

“He has been a wonderful representative to us”.

Another beneficiary from Igbogbo, Mrs Kashimawo, also commended the program.

“I came for the health progarmme which is very okay. I pray that God will continue to help him and increase his capacity”.

Mr Jubril Alalade Abolomogbe from Aga in Ikorodu, said:

“I came here for general check up at the Rep. Benson’s outreach program. It’s a good one and I pray that God will continue to answer his prayer and take him to wherever he want to reach in life”, he said.
