Arrangements have been concluded for a key chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in lkorodu, and Vice State Chairman of the party in the Lagos East Senatorial District, Otunba Amid Adekunle Oduborisha and his AMIKO Group, to formally be re-integrated into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

THE IMPACT gathered that, Oduborisha, who is the President of the prestigious Oriwu Club, Ikorodu, had, weeks back, returned to the APC family which he left several years back after his disagreement with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It was gathered that the return of Oduborisha and his team will be made public at the flag – off ceremony of the campaign of Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Representative of the Ikorodu Federal Constituency who is seeking a third term.

The much – anticipated flag – off is scheduled to hold at the Ikorodu Ferry Terminal, Ipakodo/Ebute – Iga in Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area, on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Otunba Oduborisha confirmed the development to THE IMPACT in a phone chat today.

“Yes, I am returning to the APC and not decamping like others. This is where I belong and I am coming back home”, he said.

“It is indeed my re-integration into the APC”, he added.

In another chat with a close ally of Otunba Oduborisha, he said that the political leader is happy to be back in the APC, to work for the Presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.

“He is happy to be re-aligning with his people. His decision is based on the clamour of his supporters and followers to return to the folks of the progressives.

“He couldn’t, in his good conscience, remain in the PDP and back a northern candidate to replace another northern candidate. He will be supporting the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all other APC candidates to win the 2023 elections”, the ally emphasized
