iCare, Kimberly Clark Support Mothers, Students With 10, 000 Diapers, Pads

As part of her community outreach activities, iCare Foundation, the working machinery of Rep. Babajimi Benson, Member, Federal House of Representatives, has partnered with Kimberly Clark, manufacturer of Huggies diapers and Kotex sanitary pads, to distribute 10, 000 diapers and pads to mothers and students.

A total of 5000 Huggies diapers were distributed to mothers in primary health facilities and another 5,000 Kotex sanitary pads to secondary school students in Ikorodu Federal Constituency between last week and Monday, November 8, 2022.

While nursing mothers at Ita-Elewa Primary Health Centre, Ijede, Ipakodo, Baiyeku, Imota health centres, among others benefitted from the diapers distribution, selected students in the Ikorodu Local Government and five Local Council Development Area (LCDAs) in the federal constituency benefitted from the sanitary pads.

During the distribution, benefitting female students were also lectured on the appropriate and hygienic way to use sanitary pads.

There were appreciation from both students and mothers over Rep. Benson’s gesture.
