IKODASS Opens AGL Delitesome Scholarship For Ikorodu Students

The Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS) has called for applications from students, both indigenes and residents, in Ikorodu for the AGL Delitesome Scholarship.

Application was made opened on October 18th and interested applicants are expected to fill their application form on the IKODASS website: www.ikoroduoga.com.ng.

AGL Delitesome Scholarship was introduced during the 30th Ikorodu – Oga Day Carnival last year.

According to a statement signed by Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo, Chairman, IKODASS, applicants must meet certain criteria to qualify for the award.

He also stipulated the conditions that beneficiaries must maintain to continue to enjoy the scholarship throughout their tertiary education.

“Applicants must be indigene /resident of Ikorodu”, he said.

“All candidates must be in 200 levels.

“Applicants must secure a minimum of five credits in WASSCE.

“Must have a bona-fide admission into a Federal or State Institution of tertiary education.

“Must present a letter attesting to his or her character from either his or her pastor, lmam or traditional ruler”.

In addition, the IKODASS Chairman stated that, all successful candidates must:

“Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 throughout the duration of her course”, Mr Erogbogbo stated.

“Any recipient who drops below said CGPA automatically forfeits his/ her scholarship.

“Any recipient indicted in any vice, criminal or cultic activity during the period of his/her scholarship automatically forfeits his/her scholarship”.

Applications for the scholarship award opened 18th October, 2022 and closes 1st November 2022.
