Eniola Adeyemi ‘Wake – Up’ Gets APC Expression of Interest, Nomination Forms

The youngest aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Eniola Adeyemi ‘Wake – Up’, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, proved that he meant business with his aspiration to represent the Ikorodu residents by obtaining the expression of interest and nomination forms at the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Eniola is the first to publicly expressed his interest in the seat presently being occupied by the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Aguniade, with posters across the constituency.

Speaking with THE IMPACT after obtaining the form, he said that he is determined to achieve the Ikorodu of people’s dream, adding that he will serve as the connecting point to bring about good governance.

“After obtaining the form, and being the only candidate that can bring together all interest groups within the APC in lkorodu, I’ll be going on the second round of Ward tour, in other to seek the votes of our party delegates, towards achieving the Ikorodu of our dreams beyond personal interest”, Eniola said.

“I am the center point and the unifier of the party in our constituency and the people’s choice”.

The young businessman cum politician who said that he has been empowering constituents before now, added that his programme will focus on children, women and youth empowerment.

He also said that he is ready to give proper and impactful representation to his people.

“I believe in the future of my community and Nigeria as a whole. I have empowered over 1,500 youths and women in different capacity from annual WAEC/JAMB forms distribution to Community water projects, women trade scheme among others”, he said.

“As a seasoned grass-root politician, my focus is on children, women, and youth empowerment through different schemes. I am ready and willing to do more through proper representation and impactful sustainable community projects, and continue selfless service to humanity.

Eniola, who is an Ikorodu indigene, is a graduate of Building Technology from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Lagos. He is an alumni of the Government College, Ikorodu.

He is a son of the former political strategist and chieftain of the APC, late Asiwaju Segun Adeyemi (Wake – Up).

The young politician is a prominent member of the Ikorodu Ambassadors Group with interest and records of community building and humanitarian services.
