Employment Data Bank: 31 Applicants To Resume Job Monday As IKODASS Concludes Interviews

The screening and interviews of interested applicants on the Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS) Employment Data Bank was concluded on Saturday, April 2, 2022, with 31 applicants certified fit for the job.

These applicants are to resume job on Monday, April 4, to fill the vacant positions in a popular manufacturing firm in Ikorodu.

According to Mr Olumide Adegbesan, the representative of the recruiting and training firm, S Lloyd Recruiting and Training Consultant which handles the screening and interview exercise, the successful applicants will resume for work on Monday (tomorrow).

Mr Rotimi Erogbogbo, Chairman, Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), said that the engaged applicants will be given a week training to know the sections of the factory that they will be placed in.

“There is going to be a week training for them to be orientated and trained in different sections of the factory to know which section that they will be deployed”, he said.

“They will be deployed to sections based on speed and output during the training”.

The IKODASS Chairman said that the initiative to get youths in Ikorodu engaged and employed is a continuous process and that the association is seeking for more opportunities for others on the database.

“It is an ongoing process and we are already working on other opportunities for other applicants on our Employment Data Base”, Erogbogbo added.
