Breaking: Elepe Secondary School On Fire

Elepe Senior Secondary, Igbogbo, along the Itamaga – Ijede Road, Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, Southwest, Nigeria, is presently on fire according to witnesses.

The fire we gathered is raging in a section of the school and the cause is yet to be determined.

Comrade Oluwafemi Fakolade, Chairman, Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Ikorodu branch when contacted confirmed the incident adding that some teachers are on ground mobilizing residents to stop the fire from spreading.

Fakolade told our reporter that there is urgent need to get fire service to the scene quickly.

Our reporter also contacted the Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade on the development.

He called back a few minutes later to inform THE IMPACT that he has mobilized men of the fire service and they were on their way.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo whom we also contacted on the sad development also made contacts with necessary authorities in ensuring that fire service respond quickly.
