Just like Oliver Twist, the Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeen Olanrewaju has appealed to the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Babajimi Benson, to assist in facilitating a mini – stadium in his council.
Hon. Sulaimon said that the sporting facility, if facilitated, will serve the teeming youths in the council who are engaging in sports.
The council boss made the appeal at the flag – off of the Odubote/Ajanaku/Aiyegbajeje road which will link Oba Sekumade to Ikorodu – Lagos Road in Majidun/Ogolonto area of Ikorodu West LCDA on Monday, January 4, 2022.
“We need a mini – stadium in Ikorodu West LCDA to cater for our youths who are engaging in sports and we want Hon. Benson to facilitate this for us”, he pleaded.
“We are expecting that after the completion of this road that we are flagging – off today, the mini – stadium should be the next because we really need it”, he added.
Ikorodu West LCDA is one of the six council areas in Ikorodu Federal Constituency that Rep. Babajimi is representing at the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.
