Wale Jagun
Hon. Adebowale Adebola, the Councillor representing Ward E (Aga/Ijomu) in the Legislative Arm of the Ikorodu Local Government, has emerged the Council Leader.
Adebowale was elected on Monday during the inauguration of the 5th Assembly by Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, the Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government.
A second -term Councillor, Adebowale was the Deputy Leader in the Assembly.
Other Principal Officers of the House elected after the inauguration are Hon. Mutiat Fatuga, Deputy Leader, (Ward B), Hon. Hon. Wasiu Shotomiwa, Majority Leader (Ward D) and Hon. Wasiu Shokunbi (Ward A).
Hon. Omotayo Awolesi (Ward C), Hon. Buraimoh Oluwakemi (Ward F) and Hon. Dimeji Osikoya (Ward F) are other members of the newly inaugurated Legislative Arm of the Ikorodu LG.
