LG Election 2021: LASIEC Displays Voters’ Lists At Collation Centres

Notice of the display of voters’ register at Anglican/Muslim B/Holy Trinity Primary Schools for the registered voters in Ward E (Aga/Ijomu) by LASIEC.

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) has displayed the lists of eligible voters for the Local Government elections at Collation Centres across the State.

The Chairmanship and Councillorship elections will be held in all the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) on July 24.

LASIEC, in its election guidelines, has stated that voters register would be displayed at the Ward Collation Centres from Saturday, 26th June, 2021.

According to the guidelines, the same Saturday was chosen as the closing date for the submission of nomination forms of ‘substituted’ candidates by the political parties.

Our reporter saw LASIEC officials pasting voters’ lists at the Anglican Primary School/Muslim B Primary in Ikorodu on Saturday evening  while moving around to monitor the exercise.

Our reporter also reported that same lists have also been pasted at United African Methodist Church (Eleja) Primary School, Igbogbo which is the collation centre for Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and Ward C2.

Voters lists are also pasted on classrooms walls at the Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo.
