The opening ceremony for the Odofin Ogunsanya U – 17 Super Cup has been slated for December 8, 2020, at the Lagos State Polytechnic football ground.
According to the sponsor, Prince Adedoyin Ogunbiyi – Oyeneye Jokotex, Managing Consultant of Hicare Health foundation, the tournament, aside engaging youths in the division, is also to commemorate the installation of Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, the Chairman, Multi – Choice, as the Odofin of Ikorodu.
“This is the first edition of the tournament and it is being organised to support sporting activities and engage youths actively in order to make them shun violence.
“It is also to commemorate the installation of Chief Adewunmi Ogunsanya whose traditional installation as the Odofin chieftaincy is ongoing at the moment”.
He added that teams across the Ikorodu Division are going to be participating in the tournament.
