Ikorodu Resource Group Elects Alhaji Rotinwa, Others As Officers

Alhai Babatunde Rotinwa, newly elected chairman of the Ikorodu Development Resource Development Group (IDRDG).

The Chairman of the Local Government Commission in Lagos State and former Head of Service in the State, Alhaji Babatunde Rotinwa, has emerged as the new chairman of the Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG).

He was elected at the Annual General Meeting of the group held at the Ikorodu Town Hall on Sunday December 1, 2019, along nine other new officers.

Others elected to steer the ship of the group include Alhaji Sikiru A. Oloyede (Vice Chairman), Dr Mobolaji A. Olukoya (General Secretary), Dr Adesegun Kashimawo (Asst. General Secretary), Mr Adeoye A. Abiodun (Treasurer), Dr Abiodun Fatai- Abatan (Social Secretary), Otunba Wole Odulate (Financial Secretary) and Dr Taiwo Hassan (Auditor).

The immediate past chairman of the IDRDG, Mr F. Olalekan Lasisi, and Engr. Lukman Erogbogbo, were elected Ex-officio 1 and 2 respectively.

Ikorodu Development Resource Development Group (IDRDG) is the parent body of the Ikorodu Division Human Resource Development Board (IDHRDB), Ikorodu Town Hall Management Board (ITHMB), Prof Anthony Adegbola Science Center Foundation and the Ikorodu Chamber of Commerce & Industries (ICCI).

These bodies report their activities to the IDRDG on monthly basis.

Since the ITHMB shares same Executive Officers with its parent body, IDRDG, Alhaji Rotinwa will double as chairman of the two.
