Ikorodu Mandate Group Charts New Course

Chieftains and members  of The Mandate Group (TMG)  in Ikorodu division gathered on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 to chart a new way for the group and also to call for unity among members.
 
Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Chief Adenrele Olowu, Alhaji Oluwofora Omotayo, Evang Falodun and Falohun were among other chieftains of the group that gathered with hundreds of members at Olufowora’s ground at Anibaba, Ikorodu, for the group’s first general meeting in 2018.
 
Also at the meeting were representatives of the group across the six Local Government and Local Council Development Areas in Ikorodu Division.
 
Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, former Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives and Chieftain of the All Progressives Party (APC), in his address called for unity among members of the group and urged them to continue to work for the progress of APC.
 
Alhaji Jimoh Monsuru ( Ikorodu Central), Alhaji Oriade (Ikorodu West LGA), Hon Lukman Safari (Ikorodu North LGA), Alhaji Jamiu Benson (Igbogbo/Bayeku LGA) and Hon. Kajola Segun (Imota LGA) were decorated as new TMG Chairmen in the five of the six LGAs of Ikorodu division.
 
A billboard with the pictures of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade and Member, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Babajimi Benson, which was erected at the main entrance of the venue was also unveiled.
