Mayor Deen Sanwoola, the Director-General (DG), Jimi Benson Campaign Organization has stated that awards of honour given to All Progressive Party (APC) executives in the thirty wards and six local government areas (LGAs) of Ikorodu is in recognition of their commitment and dedication to the development of the party over the years.
He spoke during at a special interactive session with the executives at Jimi Benson Campaign Organization headquarters, 40b, Lagos Road, Ikorodu.
“The awards of honour you are being given today are in recognition of your relentless service to the party. You are deserving of recognition for your tireless efforts and commitment in developing our party in Ikorodu and Lagos State in general.”
Sanwoola added that, “the award is to recognize, appreciate and honour real party people, the foot soldiers who toil day and night for the growth and development of our party. You deserving of highest honour and on behalf of the party recognizing you and also enjoining you all to continue your great service to our great party”
The Director-General who said that the mission of Jimi Benson’s political family is to change the face of politics in Ikorodu also assured the party functionaries that they will be motivated despite the fact that the party is reversing to the old structure of twenty local government for the purpose of primary election in the state.
