The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Candidate for the sole Lagos East Senatorial District and daughter of former late Ayangbure of Ikorodu, Princess Abiodun Oyefusi campaign train will move into Ikorodu for the final phase of her campaign tagged ‘House-to-House’ on Friday, February 1, 2018
The campaign is scheduled to hold 11am at Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu
She kicked off her campaign in Ikorodu last year when she visited the Aayngbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Shotobi last year with her party’s senatorial and divisional leaders to intimate the palace of her success in clinching the PDP ticket and her intention to contest the senatorial seat
At the royal visit, the Princess of Ikorodu was also presented to the traditional ruler of Ikorodu Kingdom as the PDP flag bearer in the coming election
She has since been navigating the councils and wards in the senatorial district with her train to canvass for support and votes
Prince Oyefusi has also been doing some intervention projects in schools and areas in need basic facilities
Her campaign focus has been emancipation and more inclusion in governance of women and empowerment for the youths among others
