The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ikorodu Constituency II Assembly seat, Mr Oyenuga Abiodun Moshood Aro, has concluded plans to organise a one-thousand-man march to mobilise support and sensitise the public on his candicacy.

The march is scheduled to kick-off by 7a.m from Sheriff junction in Ikorodu and proceed to Igbogbo Towhship before terminating at the open space in front of the Adeboruwa palace in Igbogbo where the Igbogbo phase of his flag off campaign would hold.

All the PDP candidates in Ikorodu division, party chieftains and supporters are expected to attend the march tagged, ‘A Thousand March For The Capable team”.

Speaking with THE IMPACT, Mr Aro stated that the march is to once again mobilise people for the PDP candidates and flag off his campaign in Igbogbo.

“We are embarking on the march to senstise and mobilise the populace to support all the PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

“Our intention is to start the march with 1000 people but we are fully aware that more people will be joining us along the route to Igbogbo. More so, we have thousands of our party members and supporters in Igbogbo that we shall be joining for the campaign rally”.

According to him, the rally is also being staged to mobilise the public on the need to collect their PVC

“Aside using the march to drum support for our candidates, we are also using it to sensitise and mobilise members of the public on the need to pick their PVC at the INEC office because without the card, they cannot vote for the true change and good governance that we are offering them.

Mr Aro kicked off his campaign for the Ikorodu Constituency II Assembly seat at Imota on Saturday, December 1, 2018, where he presented his programmes to a massive crowd of electorate.
