Area ‘N’ Commander, Victory Joy Management Consultants’ Proprietress Conferred With Fellow of Institute of Criminological Studies

The Area Commander, Area ‘N’ Command, Ijede, Ikorodu Division, ACP Mohammed Ahmadu, the proprietress and Director of Studies, Victory Joy Management Consultants, Mrs Nwobodo Ijeoma Blessings and a Security Consultant, Mr Sola Olagabde Popoola, have been conferred with Fellow of the Institute of Criminological Studies and Security Management of Nigeria (ICSSM).

Their investiture ceremony was held during the1st induction/convocation ceremony of 20 students of the institute held at the premises of Victory Joy School, 25, Kokoro-Abu Street, Ikorodu, on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

ACP Ahmadu, who is also one of the 20 graduands who were honoured with Associate Membership of the institute, studied Security Operations and Management.

The programme is run by the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Consult in collaboration with the Institute of Criminological Studies & Security Management of Nigeria (ICSSM) and Victory Joy Management Consultants.

Eminent personalities at the ceremony were His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, APC Chieftain, Alhaji Rilwan Ishola Jinadu, Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Hon. Fathiu Jimoh, Commanding Officer, 174 Battalion, Odogunyan, Col. Eze, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) in Ikorodu Division, the Director of the State Security service and other senior police and security officers.

In his Convocation lecture, Dr Abrifor C.A. highlighted acts that constitute an electoral breach and enjoined participants to desist from them during the coming general elections.

Some of the acts he listed as constituting criminal breaches during electioneering process are impersonation of an electoral officer, bribery of electoral and security officer, vote buying, hijacking of electoral materials, a false announcement of results and harassment of electoral officers and others at polling units among others.

He has also served in many capacities since he joined the police force as a Cadet Officer in 1985. Some of the  positions of responsibilities he had held were – Division Crime Officer, A Division, Asaba, Divisional Police Officer, Central Jos, Divisional Police Officer, Warri, Delta State, Commander MOPOL 31, Asaba, Delta State, Commander MOPOL 6, Maiduguri, Borno State, Commander MOPOL 8, Jos, Plateau State, Interpol, Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos State and work with National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

ACP Ahmadu was seconded as the Chairman, Pipeline Monitoring, Mosimi/Oree-Ibadan pipeline and ACP Administration, Zone II, Osogbo, Osun State.

Mrs Nwobodo Ijeoma Blessing obtained her B.Sc in Sociology from Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) and M.Sc in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from the same University.

She later bagged Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), National Teachers Institute, Kaduna and M.Ed in Sociology of Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG). She is currently studying for her PhD in the University of Lagos.

She is a member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), International Professional Managers Association UK (IPMA), Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria (CICN) among many others.
