The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I, has extended his royal greetings and blessings to the Asiwaju of Igbogbo Kingdom and an elder statesman, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Reuben Baṣorun, on his 88th birthday anniversary, today.
Adeboruwa in his royal birthday tribute to the elder statesman, described him as a testament to a quality leader who continually served as inspiration to many others through his selfless commitment to service.

In a similar tribute, Oba Kasali also extended a belated birthday congratulations to the Olu Omo of Igbogbo Kingdom and former Commissioner for Tourism, Arts & Culture, Hon. (Chief) Mrs Adebimpe Akinsola, who celebrated her birthday a few days back.
Adeboruwa who said that it is better late than never, commended Chief Akinsola for her impacts and roles in the development of Igbogbo Kingdom, Ikorodu Division and Lagos State, stressing that she is one of the distinguished daughters that continually made Igbogbo proud.
The royal father wished Akinsola, who Was also a former representative of Ikorodu Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, more prosperous returns in good health, happiness and increased capacity to be able to do more for her kingdom, state and humanity in general.
