Omo’oba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), has joined numerous others in celebrating the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat, on his birthday, today.
In a statement commemorating the birthday anniversary of Dr. Hamzat, who is also the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Omo’ba Aroyewun described the celebrant as a thoroughbred professional and politician.

”On this remarkable day, I join millions of Lagosians and well-wishers across the state to celebrate a thoroughbred professional, an astute politician, a gifted orator, and a man of great intellect and immense wisdom, Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, our incumbent Deputy Governor and the APC’s flagbearer for the 2027 gubernatorial election”.
While emphasizing the celebrant as a seasoned professional, Aroyewun also Commended the Deputy Governor’s humility.
”Your Excellency sir, you are a rare blend, combining the sharp professionalism of a technocrat with the deep wisdom of a seasoned politician.

”Yet, despite your monumental achievements, you remain profoundly humble, deeply dedicated to service, and always ready to elevate the team rather than seek individual praise. These are the hallmark of a great leader”.
The council boss also acknowledged the impacts of Dr Obafemi Hamzat in the state and, assured of his success if eventually emerged as the governor of the state come 2027.
”Your service to Lagos State over two decades has made a lasting contribution to our collective development. As you now prepare to lead Lagos into its next chapter, we hold sincere confidence in your abilities, character, and dedication.
