Imota Council Boss Urges Peace, Stability As Muslims Celebrate Anniversary Of Prophet Muhammed’s Birth

Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), the Executive Chairman, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has used the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), to call for continuous peace and stability in Imota.

‎He gave the charge in a statement today to mark the global celebration, urging Muslim residents in Imota to live by the teaching and virtues of the Prophet by continue to show love, tolerance and to live in peace with one another.

‎”Today, I join millions of the Muslim faithful across the world in wishing our brothers and sisters in Imota Local Council Development Area a peaceful and joyous Maulud Nabiy, commemorating the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

‎”As we celebrate this special occasion, I urge everyone, particularly members of the Muslim community, to reflect on the exemplary life, teachings, and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Let us use this occasion to strengthen the bonds of love, unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among us.”

‎Hon. Benson Ayodele further stressed:

‎”As a community, we must continue to work together to preserve the peace and stability we enjoy in our beloved Imota LCDA. Let us shun violence, division, intolerance, and every action capable of disrupting the existing harmony within our community.”

‎”The true significance of Maulud Nabiy lies not only in the celebration but also in our ability to emulate the noble character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Let us continue to pray for peace, progress, unity, and prosperity in Imota LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large.

‎”Happy Eid-el-Maulud Nabiy.”
