Ikorodu Federal Rep Celebrates Impacts Of Investment In Healthcare Facility With Successful Birth Of Triplets

The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has again, celebrated the impacts of investment in medical and medicare facility with the birth of the first set of triplets in the Maternal and Child Centre of the General Hospital Imota, a facility he facilitated two years ago.

Rep. Benson, on April 9, this year had celebrated triple sets of twin babies in a single day in the same hospital.

In a statement by the three – term lawmaker who secured his people’s mandate and that of his party – All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to run for the fourth term recently, described the development as a testament to purposeful investment in healthcare infrastructure.

“On April 9, this Centre made history with the safe delivery of three sets of twins in a single day. Today, August 19, it has once again recorded another remarkable first – the birth of its first set of triplets.”

“This is more than another joyful moment for the families involved; it is another powerful affirmation of what purposeful investment in healthcare infrastructure can achieve for our people.”

Rep. Benson stressed that the facility has provided safe environment for delivery and quality healthcare for mother and child, while congratulating the family blessed with the triplets.

“Two years after the Maternal and Child Centre, Imota was facilitated, its impact continues to speak for itself – saving lives, supporting mothers and children, accommodating complex deliveries and providing a safe and conducive environment for quality healthcare delivery. Its emergence also paved the way for the facility’s upgrade to a full-fledged General Hospital, expanding the healthcare possibilities for Imota and surrounding communities.”

“I warmly congratulate the parents of these beautiful triplets and pray that Almighty God grants the children sound health, long life, wisdom and abundant grace.
