Ayangbure Confers Bamofin Of Ikorodu Kingdom On Lagos CJ, Kazeem Alogba

Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba, Lagos Chief Judge bowing in reverence to HRM Oba Kabir Shotobi, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu after the royal father announced the conferment of Bamofin of Ikorodu Kingdom on the jurist.

The Ayangbure of Ikorodu, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, has conferred the honourary title of Bamofin of Ikorodu kingdom on the Chief Judge of Lagos State, Honourable Justice Kazeem Alogba.

Oba Shotobi made the pronouncement at the Lowa home of the father of the CJ and the Babaloja of Ikorodu Kingdom, Alhaji Jimoh Alogba, on Friday, during the continuation of his royal visit to senior citizens in Ikorodu Kingdom.

“I will today pronounce the conferment of the title of Bamofin of Ikorodu Kingdom on you and the Iwuye will be done whenever Baba (CJ’s father) ask us to schedule it. Baba will be alive and God will grant him the good health to witness the day.

“These beads can be use on agbada or suit. It is a symbol of royalty and dignity that is conferred on you.

“Again, and with consent of Baba, I am pronouncing you, Justice Kazeem Olanrewaju Alogba as the Bamofin of Ikorodu Kingdom”, Oba Shotobi said emphatically.

At the visit were the Asipa of Ikorodu and Asiwaju of Ibesheland, Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, Bobakeye of Ikorodu, Chief Niyi Banjoko, traditional chiefs and Baales.
