Representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) has announced date for consultation screening of successful applicants for the second edition of his free cataract surgery, initiated to assist residents correct their eye defects and restoring their vision.
He announced the screening, which is slated for AMA Hotel & Suites, Ijede, will hold 12:00pm on Sunday, 9th August, 2026, in a statement today.
The lawmaker, some weeks ago had called for applications from the three council areas in his constituency – Igbogbo/Baiyeku, Ijede and Imota LCDAs, with application formally closing last Friday.

”This is to inform all applicants and members of the public that enrollment for the AMA Free Cataract Surgery (Second Edition) officially closed on Friday.”
”All successfully enrolled prospective beneficiaries are hereby invited for consultation and medical screening.”
AMA stated that attendance at the screening is compulsory for all the applicants to determine their eligibility for the surgery.
“Attendance at the screening is compulsory, as it will determine eligibility for the free cataract surgery.

”If you or anyone you know has enrolled, kindly ensure they are present on time with any relevant medical records, if available,” he appealed to members of the public.
