The Chairman, Kutere/Oni -Ogunsanya Community Development Association (CDA) and a philanthropist, Prince Adebola Adeyinka Ajasa, has pleaded with the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, not to forget residents of the area in his quest to develop Ikorodu through good road networks.

He appealed to the three -term lawmaker on the need to facilitate the construction of the remaining part of Oni Ogunsanya street which links Raimi Shoyiga Street and Hamzat Avenue which are the streets in Aga area of lkorodu that are yet to be tarred.

Prince Ajasa, who recently donated a borehole water project to his CDA and Aga community, stated that residents of the area have over time given massive support to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), especially Rep. Benson, and as a result, deserved to feel the lawmaker’s presence like other parts of his constituency.

He spoke with THE IMPACT at the weekend at his Aga home in Ikorodu.

“Our street is just one, and as you can see, almost half of it has already been done, while the remaining part still needs to be completed. It is one of the few streets in Aga that have not been tarred and linked to Raimi Shoyiga Street and Hamzat Avenue which have also not been constructed. These streets serve as links connecting other streets and main California/Ikorodu Club Road and Borokinni Dada Street.

“We are appealing to our member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Jimi Benson, to look into it. I have written a letter to him before, and we are also going to write another letter to the Chairman of the Council, Prince Adedayo Ladega, so that through collaboration and synergy, something can be done”, he pleaded.

The CDA Chairman further appealed to Rep. Benson to make dreams of residents of the area to also see tarred roads come true through his generosity and quality representation.

“We want this remaining section of the road completed so that it can be motorable and beautifies the community. This is what the people have been yearning for, and we believe that by getting closer to our representatives, it can become a reality.

“The community has long desired this road project. The residents have always participated in government initiatives. For example, during voters’ registration and the just concluded APC primary elections, they came out in large numbers. They have continued to support the current government.

“We appreciate Hon. Babajimi Benson for everything he has been doing across Ikorodu. His achievements are unprecedented and we are happy. We simply appeal to him to also look into Oni Ogunsanya and the remaining streets in Aga, so that they can receive the needed development”, Prince Ajasa added.
