Two of the six aspirants vying for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Ayoyinka Adebola Ogbe and Prince Adekunle Eniola Bada, have stepped down for the incumbent, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye.
Both stepped down for Hon. Ogunleye and also endorsed him for re – election.
THE IMPACT gathered that the two aspirants endorsed the incumbent at a meeting held at Prince Abiodun Ogunleye’s Solomade residence in Ikorodu.

Our reporter gathered that talk with Ogbe and Bada began at the weekend after the House of Representatives primary election.
At the endorsement meeting were Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor and apex leader, APC Ikorodu Division, Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, Deputy apex leader, Oloye Oye Somebody, APC leader, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade, former Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani,Divisional APC Chairman, Dr. Lanre Dixon, APC chieftain, and Alhaja Abiodun Ogunniyi, APC woman leader among others.

It was also gathered that Hon. Ogunleye and his team are also in talk with two other aspirants. According to sources, talk has reached an advance stage with one of the said aspirants and he too may also step down and declare his support for the incumbent.
