Ijede Chairman Urges Society To Raise Boy Child Properly To Become Man Of Purpose

Despite her deep involvement in the House of Representatives’ primary election held on Saturday, the Executive Chairman, Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, still took out time on that day to celebrate the International Day of the Boy Child.

International Day of the Boy Child is celebrated on May 16th of every year. The day recognizes the importance of boys’ well-being and the challenges they face, while also celebrating the positive aspects they bring to their communities and families.

In a statement commemorating the day, Hon. Gbadebo -Alogba, urged proper training for boy -child to grow into a responsible, kind and confident person with capacity to fulfil his potential.

“Today, we celebrate the strength, dreams, and potential of every boy child across Ijede LCDA. A boy with the right values, guidance, love, and opportunities can grow into a responsible leader, builder, and positive force in our society. The future we desire begins with the boys we nurture today.

“As a society, let’s raise boys who are courageous yet kind, confident yet humble, and ambitious yet responsible. Every boy deserves to be heard, mentored, empowered, and inspired to become a man of purpose and impact.
