Imota Council Boss Welcomes Students Back To New Term

The Executive Chairman, Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, has welcomed pupils and students in various schools in Imota back to their classrooms for the third term.

Students across the state resumed school today after the second term break.

In a statement released by the Chairman, the new term offers the students a fresh start to greater learning and they are assured of purposeful academic engagements.

“It is with great joy and optimism that I welcome warmly our esteemed school administrators, teachers, pupils, and students back to school as they commence the third term of the 2025/2026 academic session across all nursery, primary, and secondary schools in Imota Local Council Development Area.

“The beginning of this new term brings renewed energy, fresh opportunities, and greater enthusiasm for teaching and learning. I am confident that this term will be vibrant and rewarding, offering our learners and educators meaningful experiences that will further enhance academic excellence and personal development,” Hon Benson Sunday Ayodele said.

He also urged school managers to give students under their care good classroom learning and to nurture them to greatness.

“I encourage all school heads, teaching and non-teaching staff to resume duties with dedication, passion, and a renewed sense of responsibility toward nurturing the full potential of every child. Your continued commitment remains vital to achieving quality education in our schools.

“I sincerely appreciate your cooperation, loyalty, and trust in this administration, and I look forward to a productive and successful term.”

Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele charged students to give their best to their studies and be disciplined for them to attain excellence and be successful.

“To our dear pupils and students across Imota LCDA, I urge you to strive for excellence in your academic pursuits. Be attentive to your teachers, remain disciplined, and be intentional in your actions.

“Aim high, work hard, and continue to make us proud as you grow into responsible and globally competitive citizens. Be assured that I am always ready to celebrate your achievements and milestones.”

The executive chairman reiterated his administration’s continuous support for their education.

“As you pursue greatness, know that your welfare and education remain a top priority of this administration. This commitment is clearly reflected in our “Hi-SEE” Transformation Agenda, which places education at the heart of our developmental goals. The BSA and BOJ administration remains resolute in providing a conducive learning environment and in promoting quality, inclusive, and sustainable education across Imota LCDA.

“Once again, I wish all pupils and students a happy resumption. Welcome back to school, and may this third term be filled with academic success, positive experiences, and memorable moments with your teachers and friends,” Hon. BSA said.
