One of the unexpected entrants into the contest for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly is young Mr Alogba Kareem Adeleke, a computer scientist, and data analyst. As a vibrant, inquisitive and solution provider, his aim at representing constituents of Ikorodu Constituency 1 is to provide visionary leadership, driving digital transformation, strengthening institutional capacity, and delivering solutions that create measurable impact for government and society at large.
Kareem, who is a son of the Lagos State Chief Judge, Honourable Justice Kazeem Alogba was born into the great Alogba family of Ikorodu born on 22nd December 1984, whose personal and professional journey has been defined by discipline, excellence, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to public service, technological innovation, and institutional development.

He began his primary education at Holy Trinity Primary School, Ikorodu, and began his secondary education in 1995 at Oriwu College, Ikorodu, (now Oriwu Junior & Senior Model Colleges, Ikorodu) for his junior secondary education, completing it in 1998, and later attended Ikeja High School, where he successfully concluded his senior secondary education in 2001.
With a clear vision to build a career around technology-driven solutions and systems transformation, Kareem earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Crescent University, Abeokuta, in 2010. In further pursuit of strategic knowledge relevant to modern governance and data-driven decision-making, he recently obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Lagos, Akoka, in 2026. This advanced training further strengthened his capacity in spatial intelligence, enterprise data systems, digital mapping, and evidence-based planning.

The aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat has consistently invested in high-level professional development to remain at the forefront of technological advancement. Between April and September 2012, he undertook specialised training in PHP/Symphony and Java Programming, with emphasis on Mobile Android Development, enhancing his software engineering and application development capabilities.
In 2018, he had the privilege of participating in an advanced international programme on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operations, Maintenance, and Aerial Data Post-Processing in Warsaw, Poland, which broadened his expertise in aerial intelligence systems, geospatial data analytics, and emerging technologies.

Alogba joined the Lagos State Civil Service on 22nd November 2012 as a Programme Analyst II, and over the years, since then, remained resolute in deploying technology as a strategic enabler for efficient governance, institutional effectiveness, and sustainable public value. His career within the state civil service has been anchored on leadership, innovation, problem-solving, and the continuous optimisation of systems to improve service delivery outcomes.
As a testament to his commitment to professional excellence and ethical standards, the aspirant is a Member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (MCPN). This affiliation reflects his dedication to upholding best practices, advancing the computing profession, and contributing meaningfully to the broader technology ecosystem.
