Sen. Ogunlewe, APC Women, Youth Donate Towards Dr Hamzat’s Governorship Aspiration

‎A chieftain of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Sen.  Adeseye Ogunlewe, has revealed that he gave a financial support to Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, during his consultation meeting a few days ago over his governorship aspiration.

‎In a chat posted on THE IMPACT platform, the former Minister of Works revealed that he made the financial donation in conjunction with APC women and youths.

‎According to the Sen.  Ogunlewe, the donation  was made to demonstrate his strong support for the the aspiration of Dr Hamzat, and in recognition of his leadership and commitment to progressive cause.

‎Recall that Dr  Hamzat, who was accompanied by eminent political leaders, visited Sen . Ogunlewe and other GAC leaders in Ikorodu Division of Lagos State, on Tuesday, for consultation towards his emergence as a consensus candidate and if that is impossible, the primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) next month.

During his visit to Ikorodu, the governorship aspirant also visited Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor and Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, a GAC chieftain.

‎‎At the Senator Ogunlewe’s Igbogbo country home at Apalura, to welcome the Deputy Governor, were Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, APC chieftain, Prince Adesegun Ogunlewe, former Head of Service, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Lagos State House of Assembly, Omo’ba Hameed Aroyewun, Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Hon. Ameen Olawale Apanisile, Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Nurudeen Solaja, former member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, former Commissioner for Tourism, Lagos State, among others.
