As part of its political engagement initiatives, the I -Heroes will on Saturday, March 21st, 2026, host a public discourse to examine the stake of Ikorodu Division within the Lagos State political system especially as political agenda is unfolding towards which part of the state will produce the next Executive Governor come 2027.
The public engagement which is in commemoration of the 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the socio -political, educational, developmental and community -based organisation will hold at the prestigious hall of The Exclusives Club, Ikorodu.
A former Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikorodu Branch, social commentator and public analyst, Barr. Saheed Kolawole Shillings popularly called “S.O.K Shillings”, will be the keynote speaker at the public discourse with the topic themed, “Ikorodu’s Stake in Lagos Politics: Amplifying Our Strength and Capacity.”
Other notable public discussants include Hon. Aro Moshood, representative of Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye, representative of Ikorodu Constituency I, Omo’ba Hammed Aroyewun, Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and Mr Adekunle Rasaq Aderigbe, a former candidate for Ikorodu Constituency I seat and public analyst.
The event is expected to attract prominent political stakeholders from across Ikorodu Division.
