‎Ijede LCDA Chairman Inspects Ongoing 1.5km Drainage Project at Ayegbami

‎The Executive Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, on Tuesday, inspected the ongoing 1.5-kilometre drainage construction and channelisation project at Ayegbami towards Powerline, Ijede.


‎She was accompanied on the inspection by members of the legislative arm and the council management team.


‎The project is a major intervention aimed at providing a lasting solution to the flooding challenges in the area, and improve road accessibility. The drainage construction stretches from Ayegbami towards Powerline through Ile-Omi, connecting the Nureni Adeshola Street drainage, Abule-Eko road.



‎At the inspection site, the council chairman noted that “this project will deliver a long-term and sustainable solution to the persistent flooding issues being faced in the area.
