The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has expressed appreciation to the resilient and progressive people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku, for their overwhelming participation and remarkable performance in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) E-Membership Registration Exercise.
Describing the outcome as a clear demonstration of grassroots unity, political consciousness, and collective resolve, the Chairman noted that the massive turnout and high number recorded across all wards of the LCDA, further reaffirm Igbogbo/Baiyeku’s strategic relevance within Ikorodu Division and Lagos State.
He observed that Ikorodu Division emerged with the highest total number of registered members, stressing that the achievement was not accidental, but the direct result of shared commitment, tireless mobilisation, and unwavering belief in the progressive ideals of the APC.
“This moment belongs to the people”, Omo’ba Aroyewun stated.
“It reflects our collective determination to strengthen participatory democracy, deepens political inclusion, and firmly entrench progressive governance at the grassroots”.
The Chairman extended heartfelt appreciation to party leaders, ward executives, councillors, market men and women, artisans, youth organisations, women leaders, and volunteers whose dedication ensured the smooth and successful execution of the exercise across Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. He also commended traditional rulers, community leaders, and key stakeholders for promoting unity, cooperation, and orderliness throughout the process.
He accorded special recognition to the APC leadership within Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, and Ikorodu Division, as well as campaign coordinators and grassroots organisers whose relentless efforts translated vision into tangible results.
Omo’ba Aroyewun further emphasised that the success of the exercise contributes significantly to the consolidation of the APC’s national vision and the Renewed Hope Agenda, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to people-centred governance, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and inclusive growth.
“This achievement renews our responsibility to serve with greater dedication, transparency, and compassion. Together, we will continue to build a stronger and more prosperous Igbogbo/Baiyeku”, he assured.
