The Senator representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Tokunbo Mikhail Abiru, FCA has described the retired award -winning school administrator, Alhaja Sheryl Abiodun Ogunniyi, as a trusted figure in his #DoingGood Team, while congratulating her on her birthday anniversary today.
Abiru, also said that the celebrant who was a former Principal of Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu, is an exemplary role model and an outstanding educator who has mentored and impacted on many.
He paid the glowing tribute in a statement commemorating the celebrant’s birthday today.
“On behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, we heartily congratulate a trusted member of our team, Alhaja Sherifat Abiodun Ogunniyi, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.
“Alhaja Ogunniyi, you are an exemplary role model, particularly to the countless students who benefited from your mentorship and guidance throughout your distinguished and illustrious teaching career.
“Your unwavering commitment to excellence in education has no doubt left an indelible mark on many who had passed through your tutelage.
“We proudly celebrate your outstanding accomplishments, including the prestigious recognition as the Overall Best School Principal in Nigeria during your tenure at Oriwu College, Ikorodu, a testament to your leadership, discipline and dedication to academic excellence.”
The Senator also acknowledged the contributions of Alhaja Ogunniyi to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
