”As we mark this year’s Christmas, we must not forget the true essence of the season, which is to reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ and its significance to mankind. Let’s seize the opportunity of the celebration to strengthen our love for one another by spreading kindness and generosity to those around us,” he said.
The Ijede council chair also charged residents on the need to tolerate one another and live in peace and harmony.
”As we celebrate, I urge everyone to continue to live in harmony, unity, understanding, and peace with believers of all faiths. Let’s embody the virtues of humility, tolerance, perseverance, and compassion, as exemplified by Jesus Christ, whose birth we are celebrating.
