As Christians today commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ globally, the Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, urged those in Ijede to embrace the tenets of the celebration – love, kindness and generosity.
The council boss charged residents to use the festive season to pray for the country and continue to live in unity.
”I extend my warmest greetings to Christians in Ijede LCDA and beyond as we mark this year’s Christmas.
“As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us embrace the core values of this special season: love, kindness, and generosity. This joyous time should inspire us to extend compassion to those around us and to strengthen the bonds within our community.
“Let us also pray for continued unity and mutual support, as these are the pillars upon which a peaceful and prosperous society is built. Together, we can ensure Nigeria continues on its path toward lasting progress and shared prosperity.
