The management and entire staff of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu, has lauded the emergence of Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo as the Education Secretary and the leadership that he has provided in the last six months.
The LGEA personnel described the last six months as a great turnaround period and a defining moment in the educational landscape of Ikorodu Division.
Critical stakeholders in the primary education sub -sector in Ikorodu, gave the commendations in a statement in commemoration of Alhaji Odumbo’s 51st birthday anniversary today.
“On this occasion of the birthday of our esteemed Education Secretary, Alhaji Taiwo Abiodun Odumbo, the entire management and staff of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu, rise in unison to celebrate our boss whose leadership has redefined our educational landscape.”
The stakeholders went further in their tribute to the LGEA secretary:
“Sir, in just six months at the helm, you’ve raised the bar as well as infused a new spirit of excellence, dedication, and unity into the LGEA. Your presence radiates a positive aura and boundless energy that has touched every corner of our educational community. From touring schools to engaging stakeholders, from identifying and celebrating staff to fostering an open-door, inclusive administration, your impact is both visible and deeply felt.
“Under your guidance, staff development has taken centre stage. The notable training themed “Transformative Leadership and Administrative Competence in 21st Century Education” was a reflection of your own leadership style. You’ve walked the talk, embodying the very principles you champion.”
The statement, also acknowledged the efforts of the ES in balancing the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of education to give pupils sound and relevant upbringing, since his emergence.
“Your commitment to balancing the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of education has brought a holistic approach to learning in Ikorodu. Through strategic partnerships, collaborative governance, and a relentless drive for excellence, you’re ensuring sustainable educational growth.
